Natural Wine Berlin
What is Natural Wine?
‘low intervention’ wine, ‘naked’ wine or ‘raw’ wine - whatever you call it we admire the philosophy of these wine producers.
At Sorrel, we celebrate the dedication of our local wine producers who adopt traditional, natural methods in their winemaking process. These artisans prioritize better practices and the intricate details of the winemaking process, from tending to their land in a more sustainable way, through to hand-picking their grapes. Such mindful practices often lead to reduced sulfite usage, and in many instances, wines are produced with no sulfites at all during bottling. The result is a collection of wines marked by their true character and vibrancy, each bottle echoing a genuine sense of life and authenticity from the place is which it was created.
